Massive congratulations to Erick Gallego Teshome who has signed for Manchester United!
Where do we even start with this boy. Another lad that began his grassroots journey with us at the beginning of U6’s. We knew from his very first training session that he would go on to achieve this at U9’s. He is a boy that literally has no ceiling on where he can go in this game!
Erick can simply do everything the game of football requires, whether that’s dominating in 1v1’s, with and without the ball, making a last ditch challenge to win a game, providing assists, scoring goals, being the engine in the team or dictating a game, Erick can simply do it all.
We’ve seen Erick do things with a football that our coaches are still trying to do on a weekly basis, and when we talk about a player for the big moments, look no further than Erick.
He simply loves the game of football, and is a player that is so positive when on the ball. He catches the eye of opposing managers and parents, and turns heads from opposing pitches when he’s playing the game. A flare player with a ridiculous toolbox full of skills, and he’s not afraid to use them!
Erick is a lad that grabs the game, and rallies his team forward when needed the most. A big big game player, with no fear of playing on the biggest of stages! His last contribution for this Club was his Primary Cup Final where he got MOTM, and stepped up to score his penalty in the shoot out to win the game!
We cannot thank Erick’s family enough for all of their support and loyalty over the years. A player that has quite literally been begged and promised the world by other coaches to join their team, and but Erick’s family have never taken him anywhere else and their support to this football Club means everything!
