Double Delight for Beswick CFC at UK SPORTS GM WORLD CUP 🏆
Coach Shaun his his assistance (U8's - Nat and U9's Momoh) spent the day over to Hazel Grove with their new look U8’s and U9's (Season 26/27) teams, competing in the UK Sports - World Cup 🏆
What an incredible afternoon of football for Beswick CFC, with both our U8s and U9s producing outstanding performances to bring home silverware at the UK Sports 2026 Tournament! 💫
U8s Crowned Gold Cup Champions 🏆
Competing in the Low-Medium Ability bracket, the U8s were simply unstoppable throughout the group stages. Displaying fantastic teamwork, determination, and quality football, they topped their group with an impressive record of four wins and one draw to secure their place in the Gold Cup Final.
Waiting for them in the final were TGC Trinity, a side they had already shared the points with during the group stages. With both teams eager to claim the title, the final lived up to expectations. In a thrilling contest, Beswick CFC found the back of the net twice, edging out their opponents and securing a memorable 2-1 victory.
The result saw our U8s crowned UK Sports 2026 Gold Cup Champions! 🏆💙
U9s Show Nerves of Steel to Lift the Bronze Cup 🏆
Competing in the High Ability bracket, the U9s faced an incredibly competitive group stage where just three points separated first place from fifth. Every game mattered, and the boys battled brilliantly throughout to earn a place in the Bronze Cup Final.
A tightly contested final against Wythenshawe followed, with neither side able to break the deadlock during the 12-minute showdown. The match would be decided from the penalty spot, and after a dramatic sudden-death shootout, Beswick CFC held their nerve to emerge victorious and be crowned Bronze Cup Champions! 🏆
Overall, it was a fantastic day of football enjoyed by everyone involved. Every player represented the club with pride, passion, and togetherness, leaving the tournament with huge smiles on their faces after a truly triumphant team display.
A huge congratulations goes to every coach, parent, and, most importantly, every single player who played their part in such a successful day. Your hard work, commitment, and dedication continue to make the club proud. 💫

Season2️⃣ (23/24) – 12 Finals, 9🏆
Season3️⃣ (24/25) – 23 Finals, 11🏆
Season4️⃣ (25/26) – 25 Finals, 16🏆
These achievements are a true reflection of the hard work, dedication and commitment shown across every part our club — from players & coaches to our families & supporters👏
To now be adding SEVEN new teams ahead of Season 26/27 is another huge milestone & proof that our club continues to grow from strength to strength🤩
Most importantly, we continue to build more than just football teams… we’re building a Family, a Community & a club everyone is proud to represent!
